Fur-equent flyers! Woman travels the world with her FOUR Samoyeds
These four jet setting dogs have been on over 70 flights as they travel the world with their devoted owner.
Oxana Nabokova, 33, from New York, takes her four adorable Samoyeds, Maya, four, one-year-old Charlie and Lily, and ten-month-old Marvel, on trips all over the world every couple of months.
She has to book an extra two seats on every flight, even on carefully selected international flights with specific airlines, so there’s enough space for them all to enjoy a comfortable journey. But more importantly they help Oxana with her fear of flying.

‘So far, my four dogs have travelled to Mexico, Aruba, the Dominican Republic, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels,’ she said.
‘We also regularly travel across the US and we have visited several places such as Seattle, Utah, Las Vegas, Arizona, California and Miami.
‘We tend to go on trips every couple of months and they’re the best travel partners, especially on planes because I have a fear of flying and I feel much calmer when they’re with me.’
Oxana, who owns her own online pet store, added: ‘I can never imagine leaving them at home. They love to travel and we always have so much fun.
‘When they see me get my luggage out or packing my things, the dogs get so excited because they know they are about to get taken on another adventure.’
When Oxana, who is single and calls her ‘dogs her children’, goes on holiday with the dogs she usually travels with a friend and they book and extra seat each for the dogs to be comfortable.

She insists: ‘They’re always so relaxed during the flight, they spend most of the journey fast asleep on the floor, they’re always so chilled.
‘The other passengers are always so surprised when they see my four big fluffy dogs walking onto the plane, but no one has ever complained about them.’
Although she couldn’t imagine travelling anywhere without them it’s been a costly and tricky affair.
She added: ‘Although travelling with my dogs can sometimes be a bit more complicated, I wouldn’t change it for the world because it’s a pleasure to spend so much time with them in different locations.
‘The dogs definitely prefer it when we travel to places that have cooler weather because they are so furry they hate heat. I’d say their favourite place to visit is Lake Taho, California, during the winter because there is lots of snow which is one of their favourite things.
‘But they still love our warmer trips because they can go swimming in the sea. They all love to go swimming, but it gives me an extra job of washing and grooming them when they come out of the water.’

Oxana wants to give her dogs the best life possible so she carries their food with them in a suitcase wherever they go.
She feeds her dogs a raw food diet and so she travels with a suitcase full of meat for them.
Oxana said: ‘It can be a huge headache having to try and find the right food for them to eat while we’re away, so I carry a bag full of food to make life easier but usually takes up more room than my clothes.’
They get attention wherever they go because it’s not every day you see four beautiful Samoyeds. ‘We always get people asking us if they can have their pictures taken with them or if they can pet them,’ she added. ‘They’re such friendly dogs, they love the attention.
As well as flying, Oxana also take the dogs on road trips and hires huge SUVs to make sure they can all fit comfortably.
‘I just couldn’t ever imagine travelling without Maya, Lily, Charlie and Marvel and I wouldn’t see the point in going anywhere without them because they make each trip better. We have created some amazing memories together; all around the world.’
